Description
PUBLIC IMAGE LIMITED METAL BOX
Owned by me from new.
The tin has no dents but has suffered some discolouration through time.
There are 4 white paper inserts to separate the 3 records.
The tracklisting sheet is in excellent condition.
The tin has METAL1 sticker on the back.
The records have been played no more than a handful of times and not for many years.
The reason for this is that they jumped several times. I took two previous copies back to the shop but they all seemed to be the same.
So please be aware, everything is in excellent condition, BUT the records are NOT perfect.
On 05-May-09 at 19:44:00 BST, seller added the following information:The run out grooves read;
METAL 1 A 2
METAL 1 B 1
METAL 1 C 2
METAL 1 D 1
METAL 1 E 2
METAL 1 F 1
On 05-May-09 at 20:45:04 BST, seller added the following information:I have just played disc 1 and both sides played without jumping!
(Maybe I have a better record player now than I did all those years ago.)
I will add futher notes once I have played the other 2 discs.
On 06-May-09 at 16:22:48 BST, seller added the following information:I played Careering today and remembered that this was one of the worst for jumps. It did not jump this time but there were a few "clicks". Closer inspection revealed a number of tiny flaws. Each is about 2mm long and is in the same direction as the groove. My old record player could not negotiate these flaws but the current one can.
So my initial assessment that the records are not perfect still stands.
