Condizioni : la copertina, frontalmente laminata, mostra appena qualche lievissimo accenno di minimale usura; grande stato, NEAR MINT / il vinile ha pochi segni irrilevanti ma il secondo lato è in buona parte opacizzato pur in misura moderata, si osservi per cortesia la scansione n° 4 che è stata da me enfatizzata per rendere maggiormente visibile il difetto. Nella realtà è migliore di come viene qui visto. Fortunatamente l'ascolto di ambedue i lati è ottimo senza alcun disturbo; bello stato, EX

Condition : laminated cover on the front shows just some slightest hint of minimal wear, NEAR MINT / vinyl has few signs insignificant but the second side is clouded even if moderately, please look to scan No. 4 where I accentuated the flaw in order to make it more visible. It's actually better than how you see here. Happily the listening to both sides is great without any trouble, EX.  

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : film di forte carica erotica che Piccioni risolve in musica con bella eleganza utilizzando in gran parte musica classica contemporanea dove sono coivolti strumenti e sonorità abitualmente estranee a questa tipologia musicale. Naturalmente è necessaria sia forte attenzione all'ascolto che un buon orecchio senza comunque nascondere che ognuno ha una diversa sensibilità musicale e ciò che per una persona è un magnifico lavoro per un altro è solo suono noioso. Inizio e fine sono facili da recepire e senza dubbio molto entusiasmanti: "Strano Mercoledì 2" ha le tastiere che riproducono belle sonorità ipnotiche accompagnate da basso, tromba e batteria con sapori di jazz romantico e un pò di musica contemporanea. "Strano Mercoledì 18" è una preziosa bossa delicatamente lenta ben guidata da chitarra, tromba e batteria.Tra i vari brani che accanto ad una preponderanza di armonie classiche-contemporanee possiedono altri elementi musicali cito: "Donna Oggetto Non Identificato" (b2) con particolari suoni emessi dal sintetizzatore e altra musica in sottofondo e "Descrizione di un sogno" (b3) dove la melodia romantica del clavicembalo e dell'orchestra viene nella sua seconda parte supportata dalla tromba e dalla batteria. Infine mi piace ricordare "La Chatte à la Satie" (b4), malinconico tema eseguito dal clavicembalo elettrico con un briciolo, forse solo a mio avviso, di retrogusto psichedelico ed omaggio alla genialità di Erik Satie.  

Notes : an erotically charged film musically solved by Piccioni with beautiful refinement mostly using  contemporary classical music wherein are involved instruments and sonorities usually unrelated to this kind of music. Of course it is necessary both a strong focus to the listening and a good ear, still no hiding the fact that everyone has a different musical feeling and what for one person is a magnificent score for another is only some tedious sound.  Beginning and end are easy to understand and no doubt also very exciting, "Strano Mercoledì 2" where the keyboards play beautiful hypnotic sonorities accompanied by bass, trumpet and drums with romantic jazz flavors and some contemporary music. "Strano Mercoledì 18" is a precious gently slow bossa well led by guitar, trumpet and drums. Among the various tracks next to a preponderance of classic-contemporary harmonies have other music elements I mention: "Donna Oggetto Non Identificato" (b2) with special sounds by the synthesizer and other music in the background and "Descrizione di un sogno" (b3) where the romantic melody of the harpsichord and orchestra is supported in its second part by trumpet and drums. Finally I like to underline "La Chatte à la Satie" (b4), a melancholic theme performed by electric harpsichord with a grain, perhaps only in my opinion, of psychedelic aftertaste and a tribute to the geniality of Erik Satie.
