This set of 12-inch 33rpm records in a plain white box comes with xeroxed pages listing the contents of each record and a note from producer Chris Kershaw: “This production music library is dedicted to the musicians of the greater Dallas area, who captured the Spirit of Sundance in their playing.” There are a total of 190 tracks on the 4 records, including snippets of various musical styles and an assortment of sound effects. When I inspected the records I noticed that each one had a blank “Mfg. by Century Records” label on each side. Some of these labels were loose and I peeled most of them off, revealing labels underneath with the title The Broadcaster, a logo (The Sundance Organization, Inc.), a 1975 copyright date, and the numbers 1 through 8. Two of the Century labels are still attached because peeling them off would have damaged the Sundance labels underneath.
Records show light wear, VG+, except for a one-inch scratch on Side 6 and a small scuffed area on Side 8. Box is intact but worn.

LPs, EPs and 45s are graded M (mint), NM (near mint), VG+, VG (very good), VG-, G+, G (good), G-, F (fair), and P (poor).

A VG+ record may have some visible scuffs and light scratches and plays well with little surface noise. Scratches on records graded VG and VG- may be deep enough to feel with your fingernail, or there may be scratches throughout that cause surface noise. On records in the G+, G and G- range the level of the music is still above the surface noise caused by scuffs and scratches. Surface noise is as loud as the music on records graded F and louder than the music on P records. P records are likely to be unplayable.

[+ and ? denote in-between grades. Grades with a slash in between indicate the condition of Side A/Side B.]

Jackets graded VG+ have only slight wear; jackets graded VG are more worn but still intact unless defects are noted. G jackets show definite damage and F and P jackets are probably falling apart. Splits, markings, cut corners, and other defects will be noted.
