PHONADS talk to me PRIVATE UK 7" new wave/punk/powerpop 1981 John Peel RARE!



Rare original UK private press 7-inch coming out of Rhino Studios, Dorking in 1981. Looks like it was manufactured by SRT Records, the catalogue number is S/81/CUS 1024.

Superb upbeat new wave/punk/powerpop sounds by this Petersfield band who never got signed, despite this record getting played by John Peel on his evening radio show!

Released in unison with the charity Wheelabout '81, whose aim was to highlight problems encountered by wheelchair users in the UK.

Comes in plain white paper sleeve sleeve with sticker on one side stating "All proceeds from this record for Wheelabout '81".

Vinyl in excellent condition. The record is ever so slightly dished but this does not affect play and it sounds excellent.
Sleeve in very good+ condition. Has some numbers written on pencil on one side.
