Description
Both label have the 203 South Washlington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J. address. Deep groove on the A side, ridge only on the B side. Leader, Miles Davis, trumpet on all tracks. 2 tracks on Side A also include J.J.Johnson, trombone; LuckyThompson, tenor sax; Horace Silver, piano; Percy Heath, bass; Kenny Clarke, drums. 3 tracks on Side B also include Davey Schildkraut, alto sax; Silver, piano; Heathe, bsass; Clarke, drums. Record on 2 dates in 1954.
Cover: VG to VG+ Intact and clean. Old original price sticker on the front cover. Light overall aging. small tear (1/2") on the spine.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. There are a small number of light, short surface rub marks. These do not affect the sound. There is a short passage of practically inaudible groove noise at the end of Track 1, Side A. There are 2 or 3 very short intervals of barely audible groove noise on Side B. All noise is light and infrequent. Most of the record plays close to Mint with the slight noise described. Audibly checked.
