Description
Riverside Records 12-282, this is an original US mono pressing - NOT a recent reissue - of the classic Philly Joe Jones LP "Blues For Dracula". Paul Bacon designed jacket is EX (excellent), showing some minor shelf wear at edges/corners; there are no splits or tears. Vinyl is a shiny VG++, showing some age spotting/ghosting from the original rice paper inner sleeve. There are no scratches, and sound quality is solid throughout - playback is EX with some crackle during quieter interludes (such as during Dracula's spoken introduction), which is rather common on the cleanest of Riverside albums. Blue and silver labels with the "deep groove" are crisp with no spindle wear. Nicest original of this one I have come across!
