Description
Bundle of seven classic Duke Ellington jazz 78rpm 10" shellac gramophone records on Brunswick label. No chips or cracks, nice clean labels (no writing). NOTE: On most of these disks, the previous owner has attempted to create their own run-in groove. I've not test played these disks, and this may affect the first couple of revolutions of play on some sides - but for the majority it doesn't look like it affects the actual playing surface, just the run-in. Were it not for that, most disks would be graded around VG- but maybe a couple of sides falling to Good+ All look like they will play through fine without skipping.
1.Rent Party Blues / Doing the Voom Voom, 02365. Plain stiched card sleeve in good condition
2. Mood Ingido / Runnin' Wild, 01068. Plain brown paper sleeve in reasonable condition - minor tear at the base and some writing on the sleeve.
3. Birmingham Breakdown/Jolly Wog, 02299. Plain brown paper sleeve, minor tear at the base, small amount of writing.
4. Creole Phapsody parts 1 and 2, 1145. This looks a little more worn than the other disks, with less of a shine and a few more scratches. Plain paper sleeve with a couple of very minor tears. No writing.
5. Yellow Dog Blues / Louisiana, 02650. Red Brunswick paper sleeve - rather tatty with asplit at the bottom and one side.
6. Paducah / Harlem Flat Blues, 02003. Red Brunswick sleeve, tatty with a couple of splits
7. Blakc and Tan Fantasy / Black Beauty, 02306. Light red Brunswick sleeve, but again very tatty with a few tears.
The disks will be packed carefully in layers of bubble wrap and thick card to prevent damage in transit. Postage includes cost of packing materials.
