PETE TOWNSHEND THE WHO Happy Birthday Meher Baba RARE ORIGINAL UK WHITE LABEL LP

$

50

Matrices: 001-70 A1 / 001-70 B1

Original white label UK press of audio birthday card to Meher Baba, featuring five Peter Townshend songs and one by Ronnie Lane.

The record is housed in a cover with a booklet.  Includes four mimeographed pages, including two pages of song lyrics.

The cover has heavy corner and edgewear, including 4 splits from 1" to 2" long.  One of splits is where a staple that holds the booklet in the cover -- and the booklet is half-way loose.  There are two Meher Baba Library stamps in the booklet.

Vinyl grades VG+*, with good gloss and several superficial marks.  There is non-feelable scuff on "With a Smile Up His Nose They Entered" that causes clicks.  Labels have a couple spindle trails (see photos below).
