PERCY GRAINGER   HILL SONG #1

2 x 78rpm Extremely rare Discs released by the Library of Congress on 20/4/1947. This was rated by Grainger as his best composition.

Sides 1, 2, 3, 4 have The Library of Congress Recording Labratory Division of Music as the Label. Typewritten in the middle is Graingers HILL SONG #1 for 24 single instrument. Played by the West Point Military Academy Band. Conducted by Capt Francis E Resta.

All 4 sides are remarkeably clean for age with no scratches.  

These Discs were purchased of a relative of Percy 10 Years ago.

A very rare piece of Classical history which i am sure is a one off.
