Offered for your consideration is this rather rare 1957 copy of "Bass On Top" by The Paul Chambers Quartet on Blue Note Records (1569). This is an original deep groove pressing with the 63rd. Street address on the cover. The group consisted of Paul Chambers, Kenny Burrell, Hank Jones and Art Taylor.
SIDE 1: Yesterdays; You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To and Chasin' The Bird
SIDE 2: Dear Old Stockholm; The Theme and Confessin'
The vinyl is visually graded a VG to VG+ with a couple of light short scratch marks and /or scuffs. The cover shows no real ring wear, but has a two inch split to the bottom as well as a name written in pencil on the back ( I was told he was a musician also, so this could be a bonus). The inner sleeve appears to be original.
So, if you've been searching for a copy of this scarce early LP to fill in a gap in your collection, think about tossing in a bid. Offered at a low open and NO RESERVE!!
