Hello, for sale today I have a great original Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Australian version with original Albert blue roo press record. What makes this record unique is it has been signed by 4 early members of the band, Bon Scott, Angus Young, Malcolm Young and Phil Rudd. What is also so unique is the letter that I will sell with the record with the story of how the signatures were obtained.
Here's how I obtained the record.
I purchased this item off an older bloke at the Bendigo swap meet a few years ago. He had it for sale along with his record collection. He promised me he'd mail me out the complete story of the night and how the evening prevailed with him meeting and hanging out with the band. This 2 page letter (pictured) will go with the record to the highest bidder.
I will paraphrase for any bidders benefits, some of the facts he has written in this letter.
-it was signed at an event at festival hall in mid January 1977 (he believes around the 15th)
-his elder bothers band The Vulgers had a chance to open for AC/DC last minute as the original opening band Peter Ramsey's Band pulled out.
-they hung out with the band after the gig.
-Mark Evans didn't play bass that night, apparently George Young (Angus and Malcolm's older brother) filled in on bass.
I am open to any offers on this item but please, don't insult me. I will only post this item registered with full tracking (hence the higher price) as I have had too many items go missing, ending up with me getting negative feedback simply because people skimp out on postage.
