Description
Here is a super rare album by Rare Bird titled "Epic Forest" on the Polydor Label with Cat. no. 2442 101 DE LUXE. The vinyl is completely unmarked and there are no spindle traces on the labels and I know that this record has been sat with a lot of others for over 30yrs and some are really pristine and this is one of them,which is so rare as such examples that are not sealed copies just never turn up yet this one is just such an example...there are not even any sleeve marks-NOTHING-Just pristine vinyl grooves with labels free from any trace of spindle marks at all and with matrix stamps: 2442101 A//1 112 / 2442102 B//1 111 this is a very nice,rare and is complete with poster. The E.J.Day gatefold I would grade as Near Mint but there is some very light scratch like swipes across the front and so I grade as EX++ as it is really in good shape with nice sharp lines along the entrance points,minimal wear to the edges and a nice reverse image and a new like centre cover,the images crisp and new looking. The inner sleeve I would grade as near mint but for a tiny 1cm slit by the entrance but is certainly graded as EX+ as it retains its whiteness and is crisp looking with its poly lined inner still well intact. The poster,so rare to be found is certainly graded as near mint and I am sure most would be tempted to grade as mint because this looks like new but,on close inspection on opening the poster,centre left and along the original crease there is the faintest (and tiniest!) age related stain that is very very minor but all the same is there and as a result I grade as near mint,this is a very fine looking poster please refer to all photos to see that this is an amazing opportunity to own a very rare album that plays pristinely.
