Today I decided to make available this original '82 limited edition 6 lp box set by CHROME on the SUBTERRANEAN SIREN label #SUB 31 G/H. It is a U.S. pressing called: CHROME BOX . The 6 lps are : THE CHRONICLES I / CHRONICLES II / NO HUMANS ALLOWED / BLOOD ON THE MOON / HALF MACHINE LIP MOVES / ALIEN SOUNDTRACKS . I listened to excerpts from a few lps, tracks are new wave, punk, dark, gothic, spacey, hard cosmic electronic, avant garde. It is hard for me to put into categories what I hear, all I know is I enjoyed listening to Chrome. sound quality is extremely good, nicely produced recorded and performed. Should be listened to at high volume. All 6 lps are in the best condition, they look unplayed, only on one or two sides did I notice a small area of very faint sleeve stains that do not affect play and on one side of one lp a small faint surface scuff that does not affect play, they sounded crystal clear and dynamic with No distortion, background noise, ticking, etc. The custom multi colored creature labels also pristine. One side lists the title of the lp and the different tracks, (see close up photos for titles, etc) Comes with 2 Subterranean inserts, and one large sheet showing the 6 lps that are in this set on one side and a large Chrome Creature logo other side. 2 of these inserts have a slightly folded corner everything else is perfect. The box has a black and silver decal on front and back. one has logo and title, the other lists the lps in the set. Both decals are in near pristine condition, the box has a few tears on some of the corners and a detatched spine, box is in 2 halves, There are no cut outs, stains, etc. If you search for the best hard dark electronic punk atomic new wave cosmic spacey. avant garde etc etc lps that are hard to find and getting harder consider this indie label 6 lp set in this great CONDITION: BOX VG+ / LPS NM to MINT / INSERTS NM - .
