Up for bid is a very nice copy of the Oliver Nelson's The Blues and the Abstract Truth. This is the original, 1961 Stereo pressing on the Impulse label, A-5, and features the original cover art.
The outer jacket is in VG+ condition. There's not a lot of wear on the front, but some of the laminate is starting to separate. The spine is very legible. There is the original price sticker on the back (only 4.49!) and a bit of what looks like mold staining on the inside cover.. Please see photos.
I cleaned this LP on my VPI record cleaner before evaluating it. The LP visually grades a strong VG++. It has great gloss, no feelable marks. In fact, it has very few marks of any kind. The only thing that keeps it from a higher grade is the presence of paper scuffs.
The labels are also very clean. In fact, I couldn't find any spindle marks. Either this lp was played infrequently and with great care or else it hasn't been played at all.
The original inner sleeve is missing, and the LP will ship with brand new, quality inner and outer sleeves.

Shipping
I ship in sturdy cardboard mailers and use plenty of packing material. LPs are placed in plastic sleeves prior to shipping.
For domestic buyers: Shipping is just 4.00 media mail and 8.00 priority mail for the first LP/78. Each additional LP/78 will cost another 50 cents. For this item, I will include insurance for all buyers and will include tracking for domestic buyers.
For International buyers: I ship USPS Priority Mail International. For Canada and Mexico, the cost is 20.00 for the first LP/78 plus 3.00 for each additional LP/78. For everyone else, the cost is 30.00 for the first LP/78 plus 3.00 for each additional LP/78. International buyers are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and fees.
