Welcome to my auctions- I have some interesting records for sale this week, something for all tastes! Please feel free to look through my other items- naturally, I will offer postage discounts for multiple purchases. Any buyer spending over £100 will be eligible for FREE postage, this applies worldwide!
I use “Record Collector's” grading system, however as I believe records can be graded between “very good” and “excellent”, I will now use “+” or “-” to attempt to catalogue an item precisely.
- Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc...

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
Ocean Colour Scene- Moseley Shoals 2 LP MCA 60008, 1st UK Press.
This is the 2nd album from Ocean Colour Scene- and as many of the Brit Pop bands from the mid 90s, the album was not printed in huge numbers on vinyl, and as such it can be quite hard to track down. This album is pressed on two 12” records, i.e. they are played at 45 RPM.
The gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. There is some minor edgewear, but very little shelfwear, and hardly any other sign of damage.
The record comes complete with both printed inners. These are both in Excellent condition, with no wear to note- there isn't even a HINT of ringwear!
The records themselves are in Very Good (+) condition. There are signs, under brighter light of some light hairline marks, but these do not effect play, and the record plays without any skips or jumps, and there is little, if any, sound deterioration.
