Description
This is a rare original Velvet Underground & Nico 1st pressing with the lawsuit photo of the torso on the back cover and the sticker of the banana intact on the front cover on Verve (V-5008) in MONO in excellent and clean condition.
It has been in inner and outer a plastic sleeves for 40 years. LP comes with original Verve inner sleeve, but the LP comes with an audiophile plastic-lined inner sleeve.
The banana sticker is intact but appears that it has been picked at by its prior owner. The sticker was cut below the stem and then it appears to be reattached. There is also a small area on the left side of the banana that appears to have been poked at (see photos) but these are relatively unnoticeable.
Vinyl: VG++ clean and glossy, few light scratches and sleeve scuffs
Cover: NM- no splits gatefold

EX+: A few minor scratch or scuffs
EX: Light visible scuffs/light scratches (plays great)
VG+: Noticeable scuffing/scratches (does NOT skip) some light surface sound.
VG: Scuffing/scratches (does NOT skip) but noticeable popping and crackling.
