Description

This original dark maroon 3-LP set of Bach Cello Suites performed by Janos Starker is certainly one of the ultimate prize for classical record collectors.  Pressing info for the records are: Record 1 (RFR-3/RFR-1), Record 2 (RFR-2/RFR-2), Record 3 (RFR-2 (but 2 was crossed out and a number 1 was engraved next to it)/RFR-2).   It took me a very long time to find a set in such clean quality.  Visually all 3 records are practically flawless and more like NM- but I am going to rate them EX anyway.  I played the first 3 cuts on Side 1 and the sound was indeed super clean.  The box, however, is showing wear and tear, which can be seen in the photos. The reason to let this go?  I also have a set in Gold Label Promo, and coincidentally, this set I am selling shares the exact same pressing numbers as the Gold Labels, including the crossed out 2 for Side 5)

About me –

I am an audiophile and have been collecting records for over 30 years.  All the records that I am selling are from my own personal collection, and went through the same treatments – VPI record cleaning machine, new inner sleeve if necessary, then demagnetize with FurutechDeMag.  You can be sure that the records will not be full of dust, finger prints, or hair.  I am downsizing my record collection and I wish these records bring you much musical enjoyment as they did to me.

I pack the records in proper record shipping cartons and ship by US Post Service within 3 days of receiving payment. 

Media rate to ship within continental USA will be $5.00 for the first record. Each additional record adds $1.00 for combined shipping.

International shipments will be USPS airmail.  Seller will not undervalue the price of the records and bear responsibility for lost and/or damaged package, and due to several unpleasant experiences, I AM NOTSHIPPING TO CHINA because I cannot track the package.  Taiwan and Hong Kong are OK.
