This is an original cover of the rare DR Hooker album - The Truth
It has been pretty heavily damaged by moisture, probably a long time ago. no active mold, not wet. It is completely dry and does not smell moldy / musty to me but maybe a more sensitive nose may pick up on something. It’s also pretty flat, doesn’t have many waves / wrinkle to it. It is split every way, opens up like a gatefold.
It maybe could be cleaned / touched up a little bit? Or if you happen to have a copy with no cover then this cover is worlds better than nothing! Or maybe you just want to frame and display this grail-like artifact of psych for all your friends to see! Either way, pictures show what is is, look at them closely, it’s not too pretty and it’s exactly what you will receive. SOLD AS IS - in poor condition. But guaranteed an authentic original from 1972!
