Description

THIS AUCTION DOES NOT INCLUDE THE VINYL RECORD!

You are bidding only on the album cover jacket for the first Beatles record, VJLP-1062, Introducing...The Beatles.  This is the original first version of the sleeve, with the songs "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" listed on the back...even though both songs were replaced on the record itself (with "Ask Me Why" and "Please Please Me," respectively). 

There is also a small, red letter "C" stamped in the upper right corner of the back cover, just above the "VJLP 1062."

Finally, George's shadow on the front cover is right where it belongs (the shadow was moved on some versions, and removed completely on some bootleg versions).

   


CONDITION:  Jacket shows signs of age/wear, but is still a solid sleeve.  There is writing in blue ink pen on the back of the cover.
Again, no vinyl record is included.
