Operation Rhino "Fete de Politique Hebdo, Lyon 76" LP issued by Expression Spontanée (E.S 42) in France, 1976. ****** Rec:ex Cov:m- ****** Operation Rhino was a collective group with a non-fixed geometry, devoted to improvisation. This LP (printed by Expression Spontanée) was recorded during the "Fete de politique hebdo" in Lyon (France) in 1976. It is made of very improvised piece building up a kind of suite, with a strong reference to free jazz and experimental music either in the contents and the strategies. Virtually no one has heard of this group, which included Gilbert Artman (of Lard Free and Urban Sax fame), Jac Berrocal, François Tusques (a pioneer of French free jazz), Pierre Bastien (founder of Nu Creative Methods), Daniel Deshays and Magma-members. This is improvised free-jazz with a lot of experimental approach, and you may take that as a warning or invitation!
