The very great "Ogdens Nutgone Flake" by the "Small faces"

Truely great condition overall. This plays perfectly examined under extreme bright white light & test played. A great looking & sounding record TOP audio. Some hairlines are visable and cover storage under (only) very harsh light & do not impare the audio of the vinyl.

Nice labels out of 100% these recieve 90% just down to the favt that you can see a few spindle marks around the label. These again are only visable under extreme bright white halogen & on my part in this description is being highly critical.

No handwriting of biro or stains from age. No ripping, fade, or tears. Very nice label examples. NEMS examples are a later release, as compared to the lilac versions. But on the run out wax on this record the machine etched numbers are - IML 1001 A1 & B1 so this is a first press from 1968 marketed by "NEMS" 

The actual record has no chips or any warping & sits perfectly flat on a turntable.

This is a fantastic fun L.P. Amazing cover design that at one point was going to be made in TIN!! but the record company "IMMEDIATE" & the band had realised that this was going to be far to expensive to mass produce. Maybe some were made i'm not sure? but the work that has gone in to this cover is astonishing. It folds out to reveal some adds, and also to show the members of the band on four clover like leafs. Great style & look, Wonderfull stuff that you just would not be able to make today.

Perfect FOLD OUT cover very bright & fully intact. This cover is so delicate. One of the coolest record cover designs ever. In the top 50 of all time. Take a look at the photographs for a reference if you have or have never seen this cover look------->

There is no split or ripping of the joins in the cover, fully intact. Has been stored inside a polythene protector. Its crucial to take the record out of the cover and to store behind in a dust inner as its such a delicate design & comes apart easily if handled with no care. This one has been. Never played for years (30) at least.

With all this said, please see the photographs below for an extra large view & the picture of the BOX mailers i use & method of posting.

P.s. The original dust inner was replaced a time ago with another clear cover thats rounded at the bottom side & has corners on the top. This helps protect the design in a safer way, as the original type was difficult to replace. I found this easier to take the record out or put back in the cover without causing breakage or any damage to the delicate joins on the cover design.

Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside the cover inside a polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape.

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any moajor defects is acceptable

Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
