Various Artists ‘Now That’s What I Call Music 34’ (UK EMI Virgin Polygram 8 53087 1 0) rare original double 12” vinyl compilation album featuring 42 tracks with gatefold sleeve. Released August 12th 1996.

By the mid 1990’s sales of all vinyl had plummeted across the UK as the mighty CD was growing stronger every day and soon dominated sales of all music across every genre.

‘Now’ 34 on vinyl sold poorly compared with previous volumes and this is what makes it such a rare number, consequently that makes it very in-demand and highly collectable.

Note: Vinyl Editions of the ‘Now’ compilations ended in 1996 with ‘Now’ 35.

Vinyl:  super deep shine & gloss both sides;

Side 1:   light surface line across 7 tracks not affecting play (nap):  light surface line across 2 tracks nap – VG++

Side 2:   light surface line across 2 tracks nap; light surface line across 3 tracks nap -  VG++

Label:  side 1 yellow; side 2 red – Excellent.

Inner Sleeve:  original white paper flat and clean; with no rips, tears or writing – Excellent.

Record 2:

Side 1: light surface line across 5 tracks nap; curved light surface line across 1 track nap - VG++

Inner Sleeve:  original white paper flat and clean; with no rips, tears or writing – Excellent.

Gatefold Sleeve:  glossy heavyweight card clean and flat; with no rips, tears, seam splits, creasing or writing; spine is clear and solid with  only slight wear; both openings are flat and sharp; mild wear on corners – Excellent minus.

I try and grade all records as accurately as my eyes and ears will allow.

Returns are acceptable if major error on my part with grading. But please contact me first to discuss.
