Dunhill 4012 by Willie Hutch: The Duck b/w Love Runs Out. Rare and excellent northern soul, uptempo two sider!! Even rarer stock copy styrene pressing, with delta symbol in matrix. This has labels printed on the vinyl like some of the Amy/Bell styrene releases. Not paper labels. See pics. The label on The Duck side has radial lines across it, and a small area at 4 o'clock where the vinyl shows through, due to faulty printing. This is not wear, but a factory defect. Look for another pic of the Duck label online and you will see the same radial lines across the label. The styrene is clean with some very fine hairlines, and a few small scratches. The Duck side plays very strong, loud and upfront, with some very minor, and only occasional, light static. Love Runs Out plays in the same very strong way, with a light, not obnoxious, tick heard for the first 12 revolutions, then again a light tick in the middle for about 7 turns, and at the very end about 4 turns. This would fill the dance floor and sound great on any sound system. The background noise is insignificant and minor compared to the swaggering, booming music on both sides. Grade VG+.
I don't have a needle for my turntable at the time of this listing, as I dropped the stylus and broke the needle off, and my supplier is out of stock. So there is no sound clip. I've described the record sound as honestly as possible.
