Description

Nathaniel Mayer with the Fortune Braves Fortune 567 from 1966:

“I Want Love and Affection (Not The House of Correction)”/“From Now On”.

Rare Northern Soul record on Detroit’s Fortune Records (with a generic paper sleeve).

This copy is an original first pressing with Sheldon etched in the dead wax (see photo). “Love and Affection” looks and plays in M- condition with plenty of shine. “From Now On” plays similarly but is conservatively graded as VG++ because of a very light surface sleeve mark on the vinyl. Blue labels are unmarked. This is truly the finest copy I have seen in years. It was in the collection of a recently deceased New England collector and devotee of Fortune Records.
