In among Mercury releases by Dee Dee Warwick, Tony Randall and the Shangri-Las there was this remarkable soul single from Jimmie Reed, Jr.   It was March of 1967 and while me may not be the real son of blues singer Jimmy Reed, he did manage to create a soul masterpiece with this one-and-only single.

The topside here is the near-legendary “I Ain’t Going Nowhere” and it’s flipped with “Do You Remember.”
