Description
Ruby Lee, I Believe in You b/w I'm Gonna Put a Watch on You (24 Hours a Day) on Poptone 1901. Great Detroit record best known for the classic Northern A-side, though the B-side has a great, tough, New Breed R&B style track. Record is hard VG-, with good shine and loads of light scratches, but it was pressed at Chicago's legendary Sheldon plant, and plays fabulously. There is a little noise in the deep background, but the music is way up front and clear, fine for playing at home or in a club. As a friend of mine once said of Sheldon records, you can find them in the gutter and they still play. (And this one was not found in the gutter.)

MINT- Perfect or virtually perfect.
VG+ Light marks, full shine, great looking record
VG Still fairly shiny but clearly a used record, light scratches, will play well but with some surface noise
VG- Played or used more heavily, lots of scratches, more pronounced surface noise, but still plays through okay
