Description
Nico "Chelsea Girl"
The is a US vinyl pressing on Verve V-5032 from 1967. This was her first solo album after leaving The Velvet Underground. This is a Mono yellow label promo copy. The cover has no promo markings. The liner notes are by Pat Patterson.
She is backed up by : Lou Reed, John Cale, Sterling Morrison, and Jackson Browne. This album was produced by Tom Wilson. The cover photography is by Paul Morrissey. Bob Dylan wrote "I'll Keep It With Mine" for her. Jackson Browne wrote three songs.
The songs are : The Fairest Of The Seasons, These Days, Little Sister, Winter Song, It Was A Pleasure Then, Chelsea Girls, I'll Keep It With Mine, Somewhere There's A Feather, Wrap Your Troublers In Dreams, and Eulogy To Lenny Bruce.
Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ / Record is VG-
The cover is VG+, with no writing and no seam splits. There is light wear, some corner wear and dent on the front cover at lower right on the mouth. The vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG-, with light handling marks. There is light static throughout and light pops on song two and song four on side 1. This is very quiet music and every little crackle can be heard. The labels are clean with light spindle marks. The record comes in a Verve Records inner sleeve.

I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. On Discogs I am 'Fragilerecords'. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home. I am a record collector, not a DJ, so I almost never play my records.
Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. Together they are very strong and unbendable. I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

You have to pay for the postage. I pre-weigh every package, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges. There are NO handling charges. This record will weigh 24 ounces when ready to ship. US winners can choose between Media mail or Priority mail.
