Description
Vinyl in a Very good- condition. Under a bright light there are the usual very light, wispy scratch marks across the vinyl, and a handful of slightly deeper scratches and smudges, that can be seen in the photo's.
There is some light background crackle and ticks during play, these are more prominent during the 1st two tracks of side one, where the scratch described causes a persistent tick, so this part of the record would border on a Good+ condition. The rest of side 1 improves with the odd pop, but would overall be Very Good.
Side 2, the 1st three tracks have a small number of pops, and again this improves for the last tracks, overall side two in Very Good-. No skips or jumps either side.
Cover in a very good condition, some light scuffing around the edges and corners, and shape of the disc coming through on back cover, all as can be seen. Non original inner sleeve. Graded by the standard record collector grading system outlined below.
I have described condition as best i can. I try to be conservative with my grading so as not to misinform or disappoint. Due to the value of the record i will accept returns, buyer pays postage both ways.
All Vinyl play graded and removed from inner and cover to send. Over 350 correctly graded and sent records to satisfied purchasers to date.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
