Description

For sale is this beautiful vinyl LP of NICK DRAKE - BRYTER LAYTER on Island Records. This copy is the May 2013 pressing on 180g vinyl with textured cover, trompe l'œil picture inner sleeve and pink rimmed Island labels to emulate as close as possible the original 1970 1st pressing of this wonderful album. The catalogue number is 0602537347551The mastering of this edition is immaculate and this copy is in really nice condition.
Matrix numbers on this disc are:

  • Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, handwritten): BC 86284-01 A2
  • Matrix / Runout (Runout side B, handwritten): BC 86284-01 B2

Condition: Please note I am not a professional dealer, I'm just selling a few of my own records. I am not experienced in grading vinyl. I can only give an honest appraisal of the condition of this disc based on visual inspection. That said -  the sleeve is NEAR MINT with almost no wear or flaws. The inner sleeve is near perfect (if you're unfamiliar with it it's a photo of a slightly tatty original 1970 green Island inner sleeve) there is a small split to one edge (pictured). The disc is VG+ with a few very light surface marks and scuffs but nothing that looks as if it would intrude into the audio unduly. Overall a lovely copy of this great album on gorgeous glossy black 180g vinyl.
