Description

Up for auction is a nice, original copy of the Wilson Pickett album "The Exciting Wilson Pickett" originally released in the U.S. on Atlantic Records (8129) in 1966.

Condition:
Cover is very nice, with only light signs of wear.  No ring wear, no seam splits.  Some light rubbing to seams and corners.  A faint line/mark on front cover bottom middle.  Back is clean and bright, just some light rubbing.  A very well-preserved original cover.
Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies

Vinyl is also very nice, still has its original glossy shine.  Has a few very small, faint, superficial marks and hairlines that can be seen under a strong light.  Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play.  Looks like it's maybe been played only a couple times, but handled with care.

Play-Tested:
I've spot tested this record, and when played in the recommended Mono Mode, the sound quality is excellent, generally clean and clear.  Perhaps some very faint pressing noise on the run-in grooves, but once the music kicks in, it fades away.  Not audiophile clean, but none of these original pressings are.  Nice full-bodied mono fidelity.
