I recently bought an estate collection of rare records. Unfortunately, the boxes were squashed together and damaged, as you can see from the fourth photo. The records in this Milstein set are in excellent condition. The records are glossy and play without any major distortion. There are a few ticks on each record and surface noise that may last for a moment or two. There is a small scratch about forty seconds in on Partita 3 that makes for three quick ticks. All said, the set is a highly listenable presentation, better than the two sets that I've been listening to for years. If you are looking for a Milstein set without minor flaws, please don't waste my time and yours.
