Description
I am offering for sale a rare sealed copy of "Layla" by Derek and the Dominoes on Atco SC2-704, a 2 LP set from my personal collection in a smoke-free home. This album needs no introduction and certainly the song "Layla" is played on EVERYBODY'S classic rock station in heavy rotation. I have owned this copy for years and have no reason to believe it is not original. It was later reissued on RSO. Generally, the original Atco albums sound better than the RSO reissues. The star of this show is Eric Clapton, but is joined by Duane Allman on one or more tracks. The album is in its original shrink wrap and has a rare hype sticker. This is not an uncommon album, but there have been very few sealed copies offered in the past few years and were expensive when they were offered.
Condition-wise, I see no flaws. There is minor shop wear on the shrink, but no tears. There are no cut corners or punch holes. This is a stock copy.
