Here is for sale one of the rarest NIRVANA item, the original SUB POP LOVE BUZZ - BIG CHEESE 7". This is the original pressing and it is one of the impossible to find PROMOS. These are never on ebay.
Explanation from sliver.it:
200 copies, same as the numbered copies, except that instead of the number there's a red dash. some examples can be seen on the owners' list.
they were intended to be used as promo, but many of them ended up in stores, as from this note by nils bernstein: "I was there when these were being numbered. the red slash ones are totally legit. in fact some people have suggested they're rarer, since more were numbered than slashed. I don't remember exactly what happened: I think the idea was to slash all the promos, but then we lost count (since a bunch of people were doing them), so rather than repeat a number, we just slashed the rest. I know tons of slashed ones ended up in stores (I know some people that got numbered ones as promos), so it's not just as simple as being a promo."
the matrix references are : Side A; SP-23-A Why Don't You Trade Those Guitars For Shovels? L-31540 Kdisk , Side B; SP-23-B L-31540X Kdisk. The Matrix was hand Etched except for Kdisk which was machine stamped. The names Susanne Sasic and Alice Wheeler can clearly be seen on the back of the cover , bid with confidence , this is an original one !!!!
THIS IS ALSO IN MINT CONDITION. IT IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ANY LOVE BUZZ IN SUCH PERFECT CONDITION, ESPECIALLY A PROMO. AN ITEM LIKE THIS MAY NEVER BE ON EBAY AGAIN UNLESS IT IS THIS EXACT COPY.
