NICK DRAKE Five Leaves Left ORIGINAL ISSUE VINYL LP ISLAND ILPS-9105 stereo 1969
Gatefold sleeve Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd; track listing side one printed incorrectly. Orlake pressing. Matrix ILPS+9105+AC (reverse C) / ILPS 9105 B//2 1 1 Textured pink label with block logo, raised rim. Correct track listing on label.

Classic brilliant debut from Nick Drake, this one an early pressing.
Sleeve is sound, not grubby, see close up pics, border has faded slightly, turning blue; some light age marks visible to rear; edge rubs all over; surface scuffs from handling and storage; a few feint marks where somebody has used the cover as desktop; obviously it’s a little shabby, but I would say it has a fairly bright uniform appearance, so GOOD
Disc is still glossy, with feint surface marks; mild background noise is fairly even and not disturbing during music, not distorted and not crackly, it’s fairly unnoticeable, no pops noted; turning up volume music is clear and engaging; writing on label and light stain as shown……. Sounds okay to me, much better than my Stones and Beatles albums! GOOD+
