Description
Over the last few years, this has probably become the most sought-after UK 70s rock album, with (I think) only one copy having previously made it to the collectors circuit.
Here’s an absolutely stone cold mint original – both disc and paste-on sleeve are perfect, while it also has a promo insert that was only included with a few copies that were sent to record companies in the hope of getting the band a deal. Only 100 copies were made, and they were all sold out or given to friends within weeks of it being pressed in 1976.
Musically, this is mainly twin-guitar, early 70s-style UK savage heavy rock throughout, though three or four tracks have organ as well. I’d say the main influences are Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Wishbone Ash and the Small Faces (the only non-original on the album is a gorgeous, organ-led, Small Faces-style version of ‘If I Were A Carpenter’).
Probably a one-off chance to get this legendary rarity, particularly in such stunning condition.
