Description
For auction is the NAT ADDERLEY SEXTET's "Much Brass," on Riverside RLP 12-301, MONO, DG, 1961. With Slide Hampton, layman Jackson, Wynton Kelly, Sam Jones and Albert Heath.
SOUND: VG+
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall, excellent playback, with solid, clean sound. Only a touch of light surface noise keeps it from NM.
VINYL: VG+
The vinyl is clean with only faint marks that appear entirely superficial. The small, deep-grooved, "mike-and-reel" labels are in very good shape, with a few faint spindle marks.
JACKET: VG+
The top right edge is split 1-inch to the end, the spine and bottom edge are solid, with a little peeling paper. Front and back covers clean and unmarked, with only minor, routine wear or aging. Very nice.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
