THE MURDER CITY DEVILS - FEATHER BED WHISKEY BLANKET
Limited edition box-set sold exclusively on a USA tour many moons ago limited to 275 (the box says 250 but the band and the excellent www.murdercityvinyl.com website have confirmed that 275 were made).
Four LPs repressed by Sub Pop USA on exclusive white vinyl unavailable separately from the box-set. Unfortunately the front of the box suffered a tear :-( please refer to the photo. The rest of the boxset (i.e. the contents) hold a mint condition. The records are unsealed still in their shrinks. Some of the white vinyls have feint black streaks in. All LPs remain unplayed.
The real magic lies inside the black envelope - the envelope is the final photo and the items within it are in the preceding photos. There is a poster, some polaroids of the death scenes for In Name and Blood, an original photograph of the band enjoying a drink or two and some incredible pencil sketches presumably drawn by a member of the band or one of their entourage! Word on the street is that the early numbered box-sets had the best special extras in the envelope and I would say that this particular set backs up that theory. This is number 55 (hand numbered).
