CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG. Vinyl is really clean with a nice dark sheen. Played all of this today. Sits perfectly flat on turntable. Generally plays close to EX. Music is loud and clear with some ticks in the quietest piano/vocal passages on side 1. Cover is in very clean condition. It has moderate edge-wear, moderate cornerwear and only light creasing. It has a UK record shop sticker affixed to front top left hand corner- it has a small sticker removal mark underneath it so is up to you if you want to remove it. OIS is clean and firm with light wear and no splits.. Really Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Check out the photos.
GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticibly deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
I am just starting to sell off my very extensive record collection, built up over 40 years. I have many rarities in fantastic condition from many genres including blues, punk, metal, britpop, progressive, kraut, classic and hard rock. Almost all of the records i list will be in at least VG+ condition. PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITE SELLERS LIST.
