Description
This is Motley Crue's original independently released debut album on Leathur Records, Too Fast For Love. It came out in December of 1981 on a label owned by the band and their then manager, Alan Coffman. This is the second pressing; indicated by the red lettering of the Motley Crue and album title, Niki Sixx's out stretched arm on the poster insert, absence of any mention of Greenworld as the distributor on the back cover, and the cutting back of Vince Neil's "big hair" look from the first pressing. I am the original owner, having purchased it at that time, and only played it a few times. It is bathed in plastic, however a partial piece of the covering is missing on the front. The back plastic is slightly torn but still all intact. All the inserts are original, including the two-sided picture and lyric sheet, without any rips, pin holes or discoloring. There is an ever slight wear on the top right corner of the sleeve, where the plastic pulled away. Only about 4000 copies were made (according to sources) of this second pressing. Thus it's very rare, very cool and a first glimpse of the demo to vinyl that launched the band's notorious career.
