Description
Here is a great find; a beautiful copy of "Were You Of Silver, Were You Of Gold" by THE MOON LAY HIDDEN BENEATH A CLOUD. SUPER RARE original clear vinyl pressing with Croatian shield label. Contains a secret track on side B that was not present on the CD version. Limited to just 1000 copies and long out of print. Vinyl is EX/NEAR MINT, REALLY NICE. Cover is EX condition except a small scratch because the price tag (see picture) . Original insert included and intact. A great martial/experimental project by Albin Julius of DER BLUTHARSCH. One of the nicest original copies I have ever seen! All tracks untitled, released on their own Arthur's Round Table imprint, distributed by World Serpent. Really hard to find these now, so don't pass this up.
Profile: Founded in Austria in 1993, The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath A Cloud was a medieval martial ambient project formed by musician Albin Julius (Now: DER BLUTHARSCH) and vocalist Alzbeth. The music was all created electronically, shifting in style from pure ambient soundscapes to pounding martial anthems, while the vocals ranged from soothing ethereal lovesongs to shouted declarations of war and destruction. All the bands releases where through their own personal label Arthur's Round Table which was based in Switzerland, and distributed by World Serpent. The group disbanded in 1998 after Albin's and Alzbeth's partnership broke up. In 2000 Alzbeth released ART 13, which is a complete Book Of Lyrics, and is stated as the final word in the project.
