BLOOD AXIS - 'The Gospel Of Inhumanity' LP (Storm)
Info: The influential debut album by Blood Axis was originally created in the winter of 1994-1995. Now that nearly 20 years have passed, the album finally sees its official re-release on vinyl - the best and most long lasting of formats. The music on "The Gospel Of Inhumanity" was created by Michael Moynihan and Robert Ferbrache through a combination of electronic, electric, and acoustic instruments, various source-tape material, vocals, and effects. An absolute milestone in military-verged Neoclassical music featuring a blend of martial industrial rhythms, classical parts with traditional instruments (almost medieval in places) and the strong voice of Michael Moynihan. Contains the definitive version of 'Reign I Forever'.
"The Gospel Of Inhumanity was first released on CD by Cthulhu Records (1995), and later re-mastered and re-issued by Storm. This vinyl edition of "The Gospel Of Inhumanity" was engineered, mixed and mastered by Robert Ferbrache at Absinthe Studios, 1994-2013. The art design, liner notes, and calligraphy for the LP release were done by Michael Moynihan at the spring equinox of 2013; the graphic layout is by Markus Sterner. The original CD booklet featured a panoramic centerpiece of Pierre Fritel's stunning Les Conquérants, a massive painting first exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1892. This can be found on this LP release, along with some dramatic additional images in the same spirit, presented in an ideal gatefold format with printed inner sleeve.
