Description
This is the original RVG-etched deep-groove "P"-pressing of Miles Davis "The Musings of Miles" on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige 7007. The flat-rim playing surface has a few inaudible handling marks/scuffs; three light tics at the opening of Side 1; audible needle drop at the center of Track 2 (I See Your Face before Me); nice luster with no groove wear; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated West 50th St. cover shows wear at the corners, 1 1/2" split at the center of the bottom seam and ½" wear at the opening; previous owner's name written at the top right corner of the back slick. Personnel includes Red Garland, Oscar Pettiford, and Philly Joe Jones.
