Description
Kenny Dorham and the Jazz Prophets ABC-Paramount ABC-122 Deep groove! Record is in E+ condition with a couple very light scuffs. Sounds great! Cover is overall near mint, but there is a name (Mauricio) written in ball-point pen in the middle of the top of the back cover. Incredible group with Dorham, trumpet; J.R. Monterose, tenor; Dick Katz, piano; Sam Jones, bass; and Arthur Edgehill, drums. Recorded April 1956. Tunes include; The Prophet, Blues Elegante, DX, Don’t Explain, and Tahitian Suite. Very Rare and a great session to boot!

Corners are wrapped with paper fiber tape. We also remove all records from their sleeves before shipping to protect the seams of cover. Sealed records will NOT be opened for shipping, unless requested.
