Hello up for auction is a nice copy of MILES DAVIS - KIND OF BLUE
Mono recording on Columbia CL 1355
This is an incredibly rare white label promo - 6 eye logo label
Deep groove recording
States Not for Sale on the Label
The cover is in vg condition. Ring wear on the front, rubbed edges but NO split seams or cut out marks.
There is a stamp on the back of the cover ( shown in picture ) of the Columbia Mid-South Address
that this promo came from. It has the misspelling of Cannonball Adderley's name in the credits.
The vinyl is in vg+ condition. Play graded. Very minor background noise at the very beginning of lead in track on side one
but the rest plays cleanly .
We don't see many of these promos and certainly not in this condition.
