Description
MEET THE SUPREMES, Motown MT-606, original 1962 release, very first label.
On this 1962 recording, their first LP, the Supremes perform Your Heart Belongs To Me, Who's Lovin' You, Baby Don't Go, Buttered Popcorn, I Want a Guy, Let Me Go the Right Way, You Bring Back Memories, Time Changes Things, Play a Sad Song, Never Again, (He's) Seventeen.
Condition of record is E++, no scuffs, no scratches, no spindle marks, plays clean & quiet. Unfortunately, the jacket is severely damaged, mostly from moisture. There are tape repairs, and the bottom seam is completely split. The main reason we are offering it is that this record, rare as it is, never turns up on this early label design, and the record is in excellent condition
CONDITION TERMS
We play grade all of our records on quality equipment. We offer a money back guarantee that condition is as described. Plus (+) or Minus (-) indicates variations.
M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
VG = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.

It has been our experience that Priority Mail packages always arrive safely, and so we feel that insurance is an unnecessary added expense. If you want Media Mail, we will use it, but we must insist on adding insurance. We DO NOT recommend Media Mail - it has become very slow and unreliable. We WILL NOT ship Media Mail packages without insurance.
