Up for auction is an AUTHENTIC 1964 REVELL BEATLES SET of plastic models that have been fully assembled and painted by a professional model maker.
Also included are the four original box tops from the models as sold in 1964. This set is so desireable that it has been created in a replica set of slightly smaller figures.One of the leading Beatles Collectibles sites is currently offering an unbuilt set of these REVELL models for $4500.00.
The set being offered (ALL ORIGINAL) has figures that are 9" tall (except for the seated Ringo), carefully painted as reflected on the boxtop illustrations,and with all accessories. A set of this quality rarely comes to market.
Also included is the 1969 printing of the book "THE BEATLES,ILLUSTRATED LYRICS" by Alan Aldrige--155 pages of Lyrics, Photos, and little known anecdotal tales about the Fab Four.
