Description
This auction features "Meet The Beatles" - Capitol Records T 2047 - mono issue w/no BMI or ASCAP listed on the labels - thus a first issue.
The cover is in excellent condition. The seams and spine have no splits nor wear. There is no writing, no stickers, etc on the cover. There is a "3" on the back cover next to the RIAA symbol. "George Martin" is not listed on the back cover. There is virtually no signs of ring wear and the front cover looks great (the black is prone to wear). The lower right corner of the cover has a slight bend. When you turn the cover over, you can see that there is a very small area where there is a small moisture stain the same area that the bend on the front cover is located. Overall, the cover grades Near Mint minus.
The vinyl has some light hairline surface scratches that do not affect the play. I have play tested this LP and it sounds great!!! Vinyl grades vg++.
The labels are unmarked and in excellent condition (see scan). Also includes darker blue Capitol inner sleeve.
