MARY WELLS - 'TWO LOVERS'
This superb example of Mary Well's 1st solo LP is a UK 1st pressing from 1963.
It was pressed & released by the independent Oriole label - the first UK record company to license Motown catalogue: PS 40045

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover together with original poly-lined lined inner-sleeve.

An immaculate pair wth two or three faint spindle marks around each completely unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surface which are completely unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight with no a single scuff marks or scratch in sight. Even close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a handful of barely visible inner-sleeve removal marks and a sparkling rainbow shine. Both sides of this high-quality, heavy pressing lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This flawless sounding copy has been played just once or twice at most and the sound quality throughout of 'as new'. My single careful play-check at volume found absolutely no evidence of any trace of audible wear on or between any of these outstanding tracks. You will not be disappointed.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A 1st class example of this rare cover which retains a vibrant, high-gloss front panel which is free from any significant creasing or wear. The rear panel is clean & white with the only blemish being a water stain int he lower right corner and a small rub to the upper right corner. Apart from that, there really is little else to fault. A tough one to upgrade.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with a few minor storage wrinkles, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
