Description
For many years I did promotion for music labels, large and small, and have accumulated product not only from labels I represented but labels I competed with as well. Understand this was not a collection as such; it was the residue of what I did for a living. These discs were not stored in air tight lockers of keep in a temperature controlled clean room, they were in boxes in my office and although they may have never been removed from the dust jacket please expect dust and even some light scratching. Others have survived the passage of time in undisturbed condition. From 1971 we have for a no reserve auction a lightly or never played, white label promotional copy of Silver Jade’s, DJM Records release “Fly On Strange Wings” catalogue # 9100. Vinyl has a high gloss surface, Rare white labels of promotion and retains its original plain white inner paper sleeve. Jacket has survived in nice condition with strong corners, no cut through good color and very slight ring ware. Selections: Amongst Anenomies, Raven, Fly On Strangewings, Mayfly, Alan’s Song, Bad Magic, Clippership, Five Of Us, Reflections On A Harbor Wall, Mrs. Adams, Fly Me To The north and Away From The Family. As a pressed in America disc I notice this disc differs in several ways from foreign pressing mainly there are fewer tracks, the band is called Silver Jade not Jade and the promo sticker carries the Bell Records logo.
