Mance Lipscomb - Trouble in Mind USA Original Issue Mono Reprise LP from 1961
On offer is a fantastic copy of this early and rare Mance Lipscomb album on the Reprise label from 1961. One of the finest yet understated Texas bluesmen, he had his own sound and stylings, good friends with Lightnin Hopkins this man had a great sense of humour and was a exceptional writer and songster.The high quality USA designed cover is in superb condition, still showing its vibrant design and clean reverse, a small 1 inch crack in the bottom seam is the only flaw and that is barely noticeable. Easily has to grade Excellent +, a real beauty.The vinyl is graded NM and is just about immaculate, no scratches or unwanted blemishes of any kind, a remarkable copy that is over 60 years old.The printed Reprise inner sleeve is in very nice condition but does have small splits to the sides.This is a classy and rare blues album by a Texas legend, it is rare to find in the UK especially in this condition. Don't question it and don't miss it.
